Fused Pair of 3.75” Round Coasters (seconds)

WHAT DOES “seconds” MEAN?

It just means that these didn’t come out of the kiln quite the way I intended or expected. There’s nothing wrong with them - no cracks or other damage - they’re simply not up to the high standard I’ve set for my art.

In this case, the pair of robins egg coasters has a couple of spots where bubbles rose to the surface during firing which created very minor pits.
