WHAT DOES “seconds” MEAN?

It just means that these didn’t come out of the kiln quite the way I intended or expected. There’s nothing wrong with them - no cracks or other damage - they’re simply not up to the high standard I’ve set for my art.

In this case, there are some cloudy areas around the edges of this dish that can be viewed in the third photo.
